Fact: I've always wanted to be a waitress. Here's why: 1. I have an insane love for food. 2. I enjoy reading all the items on a menu. 3. Tips. I know it's not the most aspiring job, but I always thought it would be fun. Hint: This was my secret dream job during college, before I started a career as a Registered Nurse. This was strictly a part-time dream. I told myself I would never waitress after graduating. Well, now that I recently graduated from BYU with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing, passed the NCLEX and can finally start working as an RN, I am going to be...yep...you guessed it...a waitress! In CHINA!!! I'm going with a friend to help out at her dad's new restaurant. The trip is paid for by her dad in exchange for helping at the restaurant. I couldn't pass up this spontaneous and amazing opportunity! So I put my nursing applications on hold and I'm going to play waitress for a few months and see the world! I'm leaving this Friday (Sept. 10) and I'll be back December 15th...just in time to bring back sweet Christmas presents...Made in China ;)
